There're so many people, Lives we have encountered everyday, Thousands I have met along my way And everyone was special. Every move we choose to make Traces lines between who leaves and who stays, So that all the people around you today Are reflections of you anyway, So enjoy their stay. And when life is tough, you always know that friends are there, And I'm proud to say I know they really care. Some of you will follow me, Some of you I'll lose like a drop in the sea, Some of you have earned a little place here inside of me, As emblazoned in my memories for eternity. And when life is tough, you always know that friends are there, Giving everything they can, When there's no way out they'll be your freedom. When you've had enough, friends are the ones who'll comprehend, And will always understand, I will shout it loud, you are the ones that I will always call friends.
